Eye of the Temple: Immersives VR
Developer Rune Skovbo Johansen Aka Runeavision has announced when his VR adventure appears in Indiana Jones style. Eye of the Temple will be released on October 14 in full version on Steam (Rift, Index, Vive, WMR). It mainly puts players with wirelessly powered VR headsets very intensively in mystical puzzle ruins.
A demo is still available on Steam. The game run reminds of a VR modification of the principle of Hamilton's Great Adventure (to the test): Again, it is careful between all sorts of falling, mechanisms and snakes of bottom plate to bottom plate. Since it is a roomscale game on at least two times two meters of playing area, you put the short steps personally with your own feet.
With the help of mobile platforms and mechanisms you are sent so clever in the virtual room, that you never reach a wall in the real room. In between, you collect gems, must catch switches and aggressive beetles with the whip or balances carefully with trippel steps over rolling stone wheels. Of course, destructible stonuses and fire puzzles with torches must not be missing.
Whether or when the possibly scheduled quest implementation appears is not yet clear.
